Michael Mc Geehin is currently Director at Coaching Ireland, the institute dedicated to developing coaching in Ireland and recently set up in 2008. Michael was chosen as a director with Coaching Ireland in April 2007 and has worked tirelessly to bring coaching forward in Ireland. He has indeed vast experience in coaching. He also has a very strong strong background in sports training. In addition he has a degree in Physical Education from the University of Limerick. He also had a successful career within the army, retiring at the rank of commandment. He is also a master coach with the Ulster Council; his role here is as a tutor. One of his tasks here is to develop and deliver GAA coach education courses.
