Mark Bennett is a National Fitness coach with the Welsh national rugby team. Mark was a keen player previous to his career in coaching; he played with the national squad.

Bennett has a total of three caps with the Wales National Team; one cap was in the 1995 Rugby World Cup match against New Zealand.

Mark works very closely with Warren Gatland, head coach to the National Welsh Rugby team. The team were successful enough to reach the final of the Six Nations 2009 against Ireland losing to the Irish side.

Bennett is known for his innovative training and coaching techniques and strategies. Bennett’s role would be to devise these techniques in order for the players to improve their game. Bennett has had vital experience while working with the Welsh team, this experience has provided him a great knowledge of rugby on both playing and coaching levels.
