Mickey Harte is the current senior Gaelic football manager of Tyrone. He is considered the most successful manager to date. Before he became manager of the senior team he managed the Tyrone minors and the Under 21’s. With both teams he achieved All-Ireland titles; while he was manager with Tyrone minors he led them to three Ulster minor championships and an All-Ireland title. During his time with the Tyrone Under 21’s his guidance led them to three Ulster Under 21’s titles and two All-Ireland Under 21’s.

As well as his management career with Tyrone, he was the manager of his home club Errigal Ciarán. He had a successful management term with this club leading them to the Tyrone County Championship and the Ulster Championship.

As manager of the Tyrone senior team Mickey has led them to four Dr McKenna cup titles, two Ulster titles, a national leaguer title and three All-Ireland titles. Harte is well known as one of the most tactical managers in the game today because of his strategic approach to preparation.
