Siobhan Leonard has worked with the Irish Sports Council since 1999 in the main role of Programme Executive – Testing in the Anti-Doping Unit.  The main responsibilities in this role are managing the testing programme including whereabouts system, test distribution planning and maintaining the Quality System within the Anti-Doping Unit.  During her time in the Irish Sports Council she has also acted as Manager for the Anti-Doping Unit and National Governing Body Support Unit.

Siobhan attended the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne on the Outreach Team, which educates Athletes on the dangers and consequences of doping for the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). She was also as an Independent Observer at 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing with WADA.  The role of an Independent Observer monitoring and reporting on all phases of the doping control and results management processes in a neutral and unbiased manner.

Siobhan holds an MSC in Sociology of Sport and Sports Management from the University of Leicester (1996) and is currently completing MA in International Sports law from Anglia Ruskin University.
